Download multiple financial time series from Yahoo at once and combine them into one dataset.

Yes Yahoo still exists. Forgotten by most, it can however still serve as a wonderful data source for downloading financial data. Here, I cover a very simple code which allows to download multiple financial time series at once, match observational periods, save the data and produce plots of values and returns of those time series. Nothing fancy and is something I did as a research assistant some time back but still maybe it is useful to someone.
